Property Description:

This one bedroom, one bathroom cabin can sleep up to four people.  The full sized kitchen opens into the living room and is separated by a very large bar with stools so you can cook, watch the 65″ Smart TV, hang out with family/friends all at the same time.    If you need Internet access, wifi login information is provided in the AirBnB directions.  If you prefer to eat outside, the large porch has a foldout table and chairs.   You’ll feel surrounded by nature on the large, wrap around porch with the abundant trees that surround the porch and the entire yard.  In the evenings you can relax by the fire pit and roast marsh mellows.

There is a full sized pullout sofa bed in the living room with extra linens and pillows if 4 guests are staying.  The bedroom has a queen sized mattress and there is plenty of dresser and closet storage space.  You can unwind by watching the large mounted SmartTV in the bedroom.  

The bathroom has a shower/bathtub combination.  A washer and dryer are provided inside the bathroom.  You’ll have plenty of towels and washcloths so there is no need to bring anything but your toothbrush and clothes.

Other Details to Note

Mountain roads can be steep and single lane as is the case for the road leading up to the cabin.  Fortunately, the steep uphill portion leading to our cabin was recently paved.

House Rules

Absolutely NO PETS are allowed. 

 Absolutely NO SMOKING or VAPING is allowed inside the house.  Violation will be grounds for additional charges..

Barbecue grills cannot be used on the porch.  If you barbecue, please do it on the gravel driveway. 

Additional Information

Check Out Procedures (self check out):  Renters must check out no later than 11:00am on check out day.  Additional charges may occur if renters do not leave by 11:00 am and/or if the house is left damaged and/or if there is a loss property.  

Please DO NOT adjust the TV angle in the living room.  

Make sure to always keep the straps attached on the top of the large  trashcans in the back.  There are bears and raccoons who love to tip over the trash cans and drag every thing out. 

Items We Provide

Items we provide: 

Starter kitchen and bath items:   garbage bags, dish washing detergent, paper towels, and toilet tissue.  Please note that beyond what is included will be the  guests’ responsibility.  

Provided towels and linens:  We provide a set of bath towels, wash cloths, linens, pillows and blankets.

Kitchen provisions:  microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, blender, plates, egg bite maker, ice cream maker,  glasses, eating utensils, pots, pans, tea pot, mini chopper, Crockpot, and an air fryer.

Check-in and checkout times

Arrive between 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Leave before 11:00 AM

Checkout instructions

Gather used towels

Place all used towels and linens in the washing machine. We’ll wash laundry after you leave so you don’t need to start the machine.

Throw trash away

Please make sure to use the trash bins under the porch. Please reattach bear straps.

Remote Controls 

Please leave all remote controls in the tray on the coffee table.
